We plan, teach and evaluate according to certified quality processes. It goes without saying that, thanks to these achievements, we are state-approved, institutionally accredited and system-accredited for an unlimited period of time. This guarantees us the flexible development and rapid implementation of new degree programs and our students the state recognition of all degrees. We have also received several other awards.

The FHM study concept
At the FHM, we not only impart scientifically sound specialist knowledge, but also offer our students a protected framework in which to develop themselves and learn to think and act in an economic and entrepreneurial way. All teaching at the FHM is aimed at making our students professionally and academically capable and thus fit for the challenges of the working world.
Our locations
The Fachhochschule des Mittelstands - nine campuses throughout Germany. At each campus, professors, students and staff live the principles of FHM together: a colorful, lively campus life, the close integration of theory and practice, a broad network of partners and, of course, a family atmosphere with personal contacts and close support. The FHM is one big family.

Learning together - growing together: this applies to the entire FHM. Our focus is on people. Together, we create a particularly personal teaching and learning atmosphere and the future of SMEs. We are strong as a team - in dialog with all our departments, with our students and alumni and not least with our cooperation partners at eye level. Organization
FHM is a company of the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk and a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences with nine locations throughout Germany as well as the digitally active FHM Online University. It has been accredited by the Science Council of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Science Council's seal of approval confirms the excellent quality of FHM. It particularly emphasizes the FHM's concept geared towards SMEs, the quality of its teaching and applied research, its plausible and sustainable mission statement and its solid management.
