AI-ERIT/AI ETHICS

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education is an increasingly pressing issue, as the academic world must respond to technological progress. Universities must prepare for the inevitable changes that will accompany the growing use of AI, in order to make research, teaching and administration more efficient and ethically responsible.

The “AI-ERIT/AI ETHICS” project aims to develop a comprehensive framework for the implementation of AI in higher education institutions. The focus is on ethical considerations, capacity building and the adaptation of higher education institutions. The project promotes digital transformation by developing guidelines and recommendations for the use of AI in teaching, research and administration. In addition, training courses and a study module on “AI Competence and Ethics” are being developed.

The project helps to strengthen the digital skills of researchers, teaching staff and administrative staff at universities and to ensure the ethical use of AI.
