Fostering Opportunities, Resources and Capabilities in AI for Effective Management of Higher Education Institutions
FORCE AI
The growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education institutions requires specialist knowledge and targeted strategies. Many higher education institutions have already taken initial steps to integrate AI into their processes, but there is often a lack of a holistic approach that covers all areas of an institution.
Goals and content
The “FORCE AI” project aims to strengthen and expand higher education institutions’ capacity in the field of AI use. A key objective of the project is to develop a new professional profile, the “AI Manager for Higher Education”, who will strategically manage the integration of AI throughout the entire student lifecycle. This also includes the development of a micro-qualification for this new professional field.
The project will conduct transnational surveys to identify the current needs and perspectives of university staff regarding AI. Based on the results, specific training programmes and digital learning content will be developed and tested to train AI managers. In addition, a freely accessible Open Educational Resources (OER) database will be created, offering informal learning opportunities.
